The United Community Housing Coalition (UCHC) is a nonprofit comprehensive housing assistance organization which, since 1973, has provided a variety of free housing-related services to Detroit's low-income residents. Because of its long history and expertise as a comprehensive housing services provider, UCHC serves as a resource for other organizations across Southeast Michigan. https://www.uchcdetroit.org/
Michigan Legal Services (MLS) is a nonprofit legal services organization dedicated to eliminating systemic causes of poverty in housing, health, public benefits, and community economic development. Its mission is to advocate for public policies that remedy root causes of poverty and sustain healthy families.
